Paul Mourad, ESQ.
Mr. Mourad drafts legal memoranda for review and approval, identifying issues within cases and outlining possible outcomes and relevant remedies to further client interests. In addition to maintaining case files and client correspondence, Paul performs research and analyzes applicable law, keeping updated on relevant changes; drafts case documents and correspondence; reviews discovery materials; and files pleadings and other legal documents.
Prior to The Jacobs Law, Paul was a summer judicial intern for one of the Divisions of the Boston Municipal Court, researching and drafting memoranda of law. Additionally, Paul was a law clerk at a small general practice firm where he handled a variety of different cases, performed legal research, drafted memorandum, and drafted court documents.
Paul graduated cum laude from Worcester State University with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and a minor in business administration. He is currently pursuing his J.D. at Suffolk University Law School and will graduate in May of 2019. Paul is a Note Editor for the Moot Court Honor Board and The Journal of Trial and Appellate Advocacy. Paul has earned and received a Honorable Mention in Oral Advocacy in his Legal Practice Skills course.
Paul comes from a family with a business background. His father owns a Sunoco Gas Station that Paul has helped manage and run. Paul’s Uncles’ own 5 restaurants in Massachusetts, in which he worked at one location for 8 years as a part-time manager and waiter. Paul has extensive experience in the service industry and has been exposed to running a business.
