He has experience pursuing and defending involving unfair and deceptive business practices in violation of M.G.L. ch. 93A, state and federal wage laws, fraud, breach of contract, among other business disputes. Ian’s practice also includes transactional work, including contracts, entity formation, drafting and reviewing operative documents (operating agreements, partnership agreements, and shareholder agreements). Ian also has experience with business immigration related to H-1B Cap Filings and USCIS Requests for Evidence due to his previous experience as a Contract Attorney working at Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy LLP.
Education: Ian holds a J.D. from Suffolk University School of Law in Boston, and an H.B.A. (Honors) in History, from Saint Anselm College in Manchester, NH. While in law school, Ian completed legal internships with Massachusetts Senate Minority Leader Bruce Tarr and lighting manufacturer OSRAM Sylvania Inc.
Awards & Recognition: Ian graduated with Distinction in the Health & Biomedical Law Concentration at Suffolk University Law School. Ian was also a member of the School’s Journal of Health & Biomedical Law. His article about employment discrimination claims under the Americans With Disabilities Act was chosen for publication, and he was appointed to the position of Case Comment Editor. He also earned Dean’s List recognition.
